01What we do
Four kinds of
locked.
Every job in this business is one of four problems: a car, a house, a building, or an emergency version of the first three. Here is exactly what we carry on the van for each.
Automotive Locksmith
Car lockouts, lost car keys made on site, key fob and transponder programming, ignition repair.
Residential Locksmith
House lockouts, whole-home rekeys, deadbolt upgrades, smart lock installation, broken key extraction.
Commercial Locksmith
Master key systems, commercial rekeys, panic bars, door closers, access control, restricted keyways.
24/7 Emergency Locksmith
Round-the-clock lockout response for cars, homes, and businesses across Weber, Davis, and Box Elder County.
02Why this one
Locksmiths have
a reputation
problem.
It is earned. Search “locksmith near me” and most of what comes back is a lead broker with a fake local address, quoting nineteen dollars on the phone and writing a three-hundred-dollar invoice at your car door after drilling a lock that did not need drilling.
Low-Key exists because the owner got tired of cleaning up after that. This is a small, local, owner-operated shop. The number on this page reaches the person who will do the work.

Up-front quotes
You hear the price before a van leaves. No “we’ll see when we get there,” no bait-and-switch bill at the curb.
Owner-operated
You are not calling a national lead broker that sells your job to whoever answers. You are calling the person who shows up.
Non-destructive first
We pick, decode, and bypass before we ever consider drilling. Most lockouts end with your original lock still working.
Guaranteed work
Hardware and labor are backed. If a lock we serviced fails, we come back and make it right.
Running special
50% off your
second key or remote.
Get the spare made while we are already there. A second key cut and programmed during the same visit costs a fraction of an all-keys-lost call at midnight six months from now.

Three counties.
Honest ETAs.
Schematic. City nodes projected from actual coordinates. Snowville (Box Elder, far west on I-84) is served by scheduled appointment and sits off this frame.
We do not claim to be fifteen minutes from everywhere. Weber County is home and gets the tightest windows. Davis County is dense and fast but traffic-dependent. Box Elder is big and rural, and we quote it like it is. Pick your city for what we actually run into there.
04How a call goes
No surprises
at the curb.
The whole business model is that the number you hear on the phone is the number you pay. Here is what that looks like from your side.
- 01
Call or text
Tell us the vehicle, the door, or the building. Year, make, and model matter more than most people expect for automotive work.
- 02
Get a real number
We quote the job before dispatch whenever the details allow. Commercial work may need a short site look first.
- 03
We roll to you
Fully stocked mobile van. Key blanks, programmers, decoders, and hardware ride with the tech, so most jobs finish in one visit.
- 04
Pay after it works
Card, cash, or mobile payment once the job is done. Itemized receipt for roadside-assistance or insurance reimbursement.
05Before you call
Straight answers, no runaround.
How much does a locksmith cost in northern Utah?
It depends on the job type, the lock or vehicle, your location, and the hour. A straightforward house lockout and an all-keys-lost proximity fob for a late-model truck are not remotely the same job. What we commit to is telling you the number before a van is dispatched whenever the details allow, so the price at the curb is the price you agreed to.
Do you charge a service call or trip fee?
We explain any service call, trip charge, or job pricing before dispatch whenever possible. For commercial work we may recommend a short site assessment or a written quote first, because guessing at a building you have not seen serves nobody.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, cash, and mobile payments where available. Payment is collected after the work is complete. Commercial accounts can be set up for invoicing.
Do you work with roadside assistance or insurance?
Some roadside and insurance plans reimburse locksmith costs. We collect payment from you at the time of service and provide an itemized receipt you can submit for reimbursement.
What is your response time?
Typically 15 to 30 minutes across most of Weber and Davis County. Box Elder County is a larger, more rural area and runs longer — often 25 to 45 minutes, more for the far end of the Bear River Valley. We quote you the real window rather than a marketing number.
I lost all my keys. Can you still make one?
In most cases, yes. We can decode the lock or originate a key from the vehicle identification number or lock code, then cut and program it on site. It takes longer than copying an existing key, but it beats a tow to a dealership by a wide margin.
Can you rekey my house or business?
Yes. Rekeying changes the pinning inside the lock so old keys stop working while your existing hardware stays in place. It is the cheapest way to take control of who can open your doors.
Do you require ID before unlocking a property or vehicle?
Yes, every time. We ask for photo identification and proof of occupancy, ownership, or authorization. A locksmith who does not ask is a locksmith who will open your door for someone else, too.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Warranty terms vary with the hardware and the service, and we will tell you what applies to your job. If something we serviced fails, call us and we come back.
Are you a real local locksmith or a national dispatch service?
Local and owner-operated, based in Ogden and serving Weber, Box Elder, and Davis County. When you call the number on this site, you reach the business that will do the work — not a call center in another state that sells your job to the highest bidder.
