Terms of Use

Applies to
lowkeyut.com

These terms govern your use of https://lowkeyut.com and set out the basic terms on which Low-Key Locksmith provides locksmith services. They are written to be readable rather than impressive. If something here is unclear, call us and ask.

01

Acceptance

By accessing https://lowkeyut.com or requesting services from Low-Key Locksmith ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site or request service.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here at the time you use the site or request service is the version that applies.

02

About our services

We are a mobile locksmith operating in Weber County, Box Elder County, and Davis County, Utah. We do not maintain a walk-in storefront; all work is performed at your location.

Services include automotive lockouts and key origination, residential lockouts and rekeying, commercial lock and access hardware work, and emergency response. Availability of any specific service depends on the hardware, the vehicle, your location, and current dispatch load.

03

Identification and authorization

This is the most important term on this page.

Before we open any vehicle, residence, or business, or produce any key for it, we require photo identification and evidence that you own the property, live there, or are otherwise authorized to access it.

We may refuse service, without explanation and at any point including after arrival, if identification or authorization cannot be established to our satisfaction. A trip charge may still apply where we have already been dispatched.

You represent that any information you give us about ownership or authorization is truthful. Requesting service on a vehicle or property you are not entitled to access may be a criminal offense, and we cooperate with law enforcement.

04

Quotes and pricing

We quote a price before dispatch whenever the details you give us allow it. That quote is based on the information available at the time.

A quoted price may change if conditions at the site materially differ from what was described — for example, a different vehicle than the one given, high-security hardware not previously mentioned, existing damage, or additional doors. Where that happens, we will tell you the revised price and give you the opportunity to decline before proceeding.

Service call, trip, and after-hours charges are disclosed before dispatch where applicable. Commercial work may require a site assessment before a firm quote can be given.

Payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, and mobile payment where available. Commercial accounts may be invoiced by prior arrangement.

05

Non-destructive entry and damage

Our standard practice is to open locks non-destructively wherever possible. Drilling or other destructive entry is a last resort.

Some hardware — certain high-security cylinders, damaged or seized locks, and some vehicle systems — cannot be opened without damage. Where that is the case, we will tell you before taking any irreversible step and will quote the cost of replacement so you can decide.

You acknowledge that locks, doors, frames, and vehicle components may have pre-existing wear, damage, or defects that are not apparent before work begins, and that failure of such components during otherwise proper service is not attributable to us.

06

Warranty

We warrant our workmanship. Hardware we supply carries whatever warranty the manufacturer provides, and we will tell you what that is before installation.

Warranty coverage does not extend to: damage caused by misuse, forced entry, vandalism, or accident; hardware supplied by you or by a third party; normal wear; or subsequent work performed by anyone else on the same hardware.

To make a warranty claim, contact us at 385-436-0353 with the date and location of the original service.

07

Emergency situations

If a person, child, or animal is locked inside a vehicle or structure and is at risk, call 911 immediately. Emergency services are typically closer, faster, and equipped for exactly this. We will tell you the same thing if you call us first.

We are not an emergency service and nothing on this site should be relied upon as a substitute for one. Arrival estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and traffic, weather, and dispatch load affect them.

08

Website content

You may not republish substantial portions of this site as your own, use our business name or phone number in listings that route calls elsewhere, or harvest contact details for unsolicited marketing.

Automated access is addressed separately in our AI & Web Crawling Policy.

Response times, coverage areas, and service descriptions on this site are provided in good faith and may change. They are informational and do not form a contractual guarantee.

Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties relating to the website, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

This disclaimer applies to the website. It does not limit the workmanship warranty described above, which applies to services actually performed.

11

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, our total liability arising out of or relating to services performed is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service at issue.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost time, missed appointments, or towing costs, arising out of the use of this website or the provision of services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising out of your breach of these terms, or out of your having requested service on a vehicle or property you were not authorized to access.

13

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
